Sometimes I get an urge to keep my hands busy, and I’ve been finding lately that nothing satisfies that craving like embroidery. There’s something very satisfying about doodling with needle, thread, and fabric. A few of my most recent creations are above–made during a stay-in movie night last weekend. I love how adding layers of thread transforms and manipulates what is below.
I’m pretty new to this craft, but I’m a bit addicted. Plus, I like how it produces cute little pieces of art that I can hang around the apartment.
