Inspired by Jess’ awesome array of hand-stitched cards and motivated by my newfound love of embroidery, I recently tried my hand at making my very own card. January and February are bursting with celebrations for my family, and my wedding anniversary is one of them. This card was made for my math-loving husband, Dale. It’s a simple equation.
I didn’t take the time to look at the tutorial from Leigh-Ann that Jess pointed to, but jumped right in and tried it out myself. (I probably could have benefited from LA’s tips…the tutorial is lovely.) Above are two shots of the card: one in progress, and one completed in all of its mathy glory.
It was well-recieved and expressed my feelings so much better than a store-bought card could have. : )
