November is all about being rich to me: rich in family, friends and, of course, food. So I’ve decided to celebrate this month with purple, a hue that epitomizes such a sense wealth. Go on! Give your desktop a little fanciness for the coming holiday season.

Speaking of getting fancy, I want to share with you a little project our friend Erin whipped up at our recent crafting party. What’s great about this piece is that it’s so versatile. It can be added to a shirt, made into a headband, added to a belt, or even tacked onto a bag; just attach the final product to a clip, pin, etc. Erin followed Still Dottie‘s tutorial and voila! She even made one for me out of one of Dale’s old work shirts and muslin.

Love the purple. It’s now my desktop background, thank you. Next time though, you should put the calendar on the right side so I don’t have to move my desktop icons everytime I start my computer. Awesome though!
