Hello All! Things have been a bit quiet around these parts. That typically means things have been non-stop busy for Linz and I. As Nisha mentioned, Linz had a flipping BABY!!! I’ll let her share the details, but I can’t help but say one thing. He is so dang cute!!! I’m harassing our new momma all the time to send me pictures.
As for what I have been up to, it has been a lot studying, test taking, presentations and job interviewing. Thankfully today marks day 1 of unemployment vacation. I am happy to say that I have completed my masters program and it is on to the next step in life. First up is a trip home to the West Coast!!! That’s right, Linz and I will be hanging out with a very sweet newborn next week. I cannot wait to see her in her new role as a mother. Eeek!
In the meantime, let’s hang out. Summer makes me want to be outdoors frolicking around. Nisha and I have been talking about getting out there and really exploring your area, but can we talk about what to wear while having all this fun!? Is anyone else like me and love shopping for summer clothes more than any other season? Some of these items might not be the most practical, but sometimes all you want to do is enter fantasy land. Join me.

I’m a bit obsessed with sunglasses at the moment. All I want to do is buy 10 pairs. Must.Not.Go.Crazy.
What are your feelings on the romper trend? I just purchased my first one (the blue flowery one on the left). Sure they might come across as silly, but I like that whimsy about them. I love how just like skirts and dresses, they can up dressed up or more casual. Would you wear one?
I’ve become less interested in wearing shorts over the years. My love for skirts and dresses has taken over and shorts have gone to the way side. I’m not sure if it is the year for it or it is an East Coast thing, but I’ve been seeing A LOT of shorts action lately. I’m certainly getting into all these shorts that look like they have a DIY flare to them. Oh the possibilities!

If you can pull it off, I am all for a good romper! I am not sure it works for me, but I’ve seen them look really cute on others. I LOVE the vintage swimwear… flattering and cute at the same time!
