I realized recently I have lived with a lot of strangers in the last few years. In fact those are basically the only people I have lived with in the past three years. Craigslist has been a lifesaver for me on more than one occasion. I’m just at that point in my life: constant transition. I love where I am at and what I am doing, but it sure makes home decorating more of a challenge. I mostly rent rooms in houses so major changes or decorating are out of the question.
My latest room is an adorable “attic” type room (slanted ceiling) that I am quite pleased with. But with little possessions and money it needed a little an extra pop that could be temporary and cheap. That’s when I decided to make my own “wallpaper”.
I purchased gold label dots and scattered them across the shorter wall in my room. To make sure I would not have any problem with them sticking to the wall permanently I stuck each sticker to the back of my hand first (a little gross, I know). This helps the label to lose a bit of its stick so when I move out it will come right off and no major stress.

I am so swooning over gold right now…so of course these gold dots have caught my eye! And I love how they can turn a plain ole white wall into something fabulous! Where did you buy your gold dots, if you don’t mind me asking?

Lauren, I too am very into gold at the moment. I bought the labels online at Amazon. (You can always find what you need there, right?) I looked around at couple of office supply stores and was surprised to not find what I wanted.
