It feels like it has been awhile since I have written a nature post around here. This is not from lack of crafting, I suppose I have just been too lost in creating and neglecting the sharing side.  So, if no one minds I’ll be taking these last few weeks of August to catch up on what I have been working on.

I figured the best way to start this return, was sharing about my afternoon of feeling like a kid again. I live in a funky little apartment at the moment, and decorating it has been a bit of a challenge. The main reason being I do not plan to live here long, so investing in decorations feel pricey, but I still want my place to feel homey.

For example, I have a front window, which is bubbled, so it lets in some light, but no one can see in or out, and it was feeling lackluster. Linz suggested I paint the window, adding a little fun to an otherwise boring corner of the room.

It really was one of the easiest projects I have ever done. I bought some kid’s water soluble paint at a dollar store and went to work, adding. I liked that with this project I was able to channel my inner child and do something silly (and a little naughty, painting a window!). An easy and cheap solution to an otherwise dull space.
