Sorry for the absence on the blog in December, I was running around, busy with all the typical holiday business, with some extra added stress and fun thrown in there. Making for one of the busiest months of my life. I’m ready to jump back into things around here with a brussels sprouts side dish from Smitten Kitchen. Brussels sprouts and I have a funny relationship. One of my clients and I have a banter which involves us both talking about how much we don’t like brussels sprouts and how “nobody wants to eat them”. Yet, I think we both actually really like them. Even if you are not a fan of brussels sprouts, this just may be the dish to convert you. Sauteed shallots, a little white wine and some yummy dijon mustard pull the whole thing together nicely.
